Drag Queen-a-Palooza promises a night of pride, empowerment and fun. Northeast Florida’s Queen of Comedy, Karrissa T. Wade, takes over Third Space Improv for a dazzling lineup of glam and camp drag performances and plenty of crowd participation. It’s an evening of live entertainment, self-expression and community. All are welcome.

Duval Comic and Zine Fest

Jacksonville Public Library | Downtown

The Duval Comic and Zine Festival returns with a day dedicated to DIY publishing, underground art and independent print culture. The free, interactive event brings together zinesters, comic artist and small press creators from across the Southeast for hands-on workshops, creative exchange, and plenty of zine and comic shopping. The family-friendly event all takes place in the air conditioned comfort of the main Jacksonville Public Library.

Juneteenth: Voices of Freedom

JU Terry Concert Hall | Arlington

The Ritz Chamber Players present Juneteenth: Voices of Freedom, a season finale concert honoring the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. The program celebrates resilience, remembrance and the ongoing fight for equality through a mix of spirituals, classical works by Black composers and pieces that reflect the Black experience today. The concert tells a story of struggle, strength and, ultimately, hope.
