The 5 & Dime Presents: Ride the Cyclone, the Musical

Florida Ballet | Regency

Friday is opening night for The 5 & Dime’s adaptation of Ride the Cyclone, the Musical, a dark comedy about a group of Canadian high school students who die in a roller coaster accident, then wake up in limbo and compete to win a chance to return to life. The show that the New York Times calls “wonderfully weird and unexpectedly touching” is performed by a cast of University of North Florida Swoop Troupe students. Night performances: 8 p.m. Sunday matinee: 2 p.m. Tickets: $27 online; $30 at the door. 5 & Dime also offers pay-what-you-can admission. Tickets and more info.

Tickets: $27. Tickets and more info. (As of this writing, only Saturday tickets remain available.)
