Know a young child who loves to write? Give them a shot at $100 in spending cash (plus bragging rights) by entering them into the Jax PBS Kids Writers Contest. Students in grades K-3 are invited to submit original nonfiction or fictional stories or poetry, along with illustrations. All entries will be published online, and the winners for each grade level will score a fun swag bag and get invited to read their story live at Be My Neighbor Day, a celebration of the values embodied by the late Fred Rogers. A Peoples’ Choice winner will also receive a $100 gift card. Submissions are open until March 24. Learn more and enter.
