The Blue Angels had not scheduled an appearance in Jacksonville in 2025, but the schedule opened up when a show in Lake Charles, Lousiana, was canceled.

The Jacksonville Sea & Sky Air Show will take place Oct. 25 and 26 on the coast of Jacksonville Beach.

“We are grateful to the Blue Angels for their service, for their role as ambassadors of goodwill, and for bringing the thrill and magic of naval flight back to our proud military community,” Mayor Donna Deegan said in a news release.

Jacksonville Beach Mayor Chris Hoffman said: “This is a big day for all of us. We can’t wait to show off our community, celebrate the military, and enjoy the show next year.”

The Blue Angels traditionally alternate annual shows between Jax Beach and Naval Air Station Jacksonville. The team performed at the base in October.

The Blue Angels were formed at NAS in 1946 to showcase naval aviation and boost Navy morale.
