The St. Johns River Ferry will be suspended temporarily after striking a boarding ramp Sunday evening while departing the Mayport Landing, the Jacksonville Transportation Authority said Monday.

No one was injured in the incident, JTA said.

The bridge and vessel were inspected afterward and repairs began, JTA said. The ferry will resume service once repairs are complete.
