The Jacksonville City Council gave final approval Tuesday to compromise rezoning legislation allowing for construction of single-family residences or townhomes on the duPont YMCA Youth Development Campus property in San Jose.

On a 15-1 vote, with council member Matt Carlucci in opposition, council approved Ordinance 2024-0681 to rezone the property at 7373 Old Kings Road S. between Toledo Road and Powers Avenue.
