A new Jacksonville bakeshop from “The Cookie Man’s” kids celebrate family, hard work and community one homemade cookie at a time.

Arble Baking Company held its grand opening this month in the Dunn Village shopping center in North Jacksonville.

Homemade oatmeal walnut, chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies baked from scratch in their home kitchen were more than a sweet treat enjoyed by four Jacksonville siblings as they were growing up.

It was how their now-retired parents — Veronica and Willis “The Cookie Man” Anderson — put each of them through college.
